Answering the Phone in Darija

Making a Call in Darija

Common Phrases You’ll Hear

  • Sma7 liya, masma3taksh. = Sorry, I didn’t hear you.

  • Soutk na9s. = Your voice is low.

  • 7ssan? wad7 daba. = Better? It's clear now.

  • Nta ba9i m3aya? = Are you still with me?

  • Lkhat ta9ta3. = The line got cut.
