My Journey
My name is Abdul, and I’m the teacher, blogger, and language enthusiast behind Daily Darija.
I was born and raised in Skoura, a beautiful town in the southeast of Morocco.
Languages have always been my passion. As a native Tamazight and Darija speaker, I’ve also mastered English (C2) and French (C1), studied Spanish
for over 3 years, and recently started exploring Catalan.
With a background in Linguistics, I’ve gained deep knowledge of language acquisition, culture, and literature.

Today, my mission is simple - to share my culture and language in ways that are authentic, practical, and full of life.

About Daily Darija
Daily Darija began as a simple idea - to share the beauty of Moroccan Arabic in a way that feels natural, practical, and alive. What started as a small passion project has grown into a trusted space where thousands of learners connect with the language and culture of Morocco.
With authentic expressions, cultural stories, and easy-to-follow lessons, Daily Darija helps you do more than just learn a language - it helps you experience Morocco. From greetings in the souks to conversations over mint tea, every lesson is designed to make you feel confident, connected, and inspired.

My Mission
Â
My mission is to make Moroccan Arabic accessible, practical, and enjoyable for everyone - from complete beginners to advanced learners. Through clear explanations, real-life examples, and consistent practice, I aim to help students build confidence, speak naturally, and truly connect with the Moroccan culture and people. Learning a language should feel like an adventure, not a chore - and Daily Darija is here to make that journey exciting and rewarding.
My Vision
Â
I envision a global community where learning Darija creates real connections - between travelers and locals, between heritage speakers and their roots, and between cultures across the world. By combining language, culture, and authentic interaction, Daily Darija strives to build bridges that go beyond vocabulary and grammar, helping people truly belong wherever they are in Morocco or with Moroccans around the world. My Approach
